“You should go too.” Sasquatch stepped forward again. They’d melted into the dark the second they got the chance. “It will be very bad for you if you hurt him, you know? But if you let him go, I won’t hurt you.” He looked over his shoulder.

Sasquatch frowned, an oddity on what appeared to be a young, pretty face. The arm around Merle’s neck trembled and tightened convulsively. Is the guy nuts? “It’s very hard to break a person’s neck, did you know that?” He walked slowly forward.

Sasquatch cocked his head and gave that weird smile again. I will definitely be recommending this author to everyone I know. Then the giant turned to Brother Two, who still held his arm painfully around Merle’s throat.īrother hissed in Merle’s ear, “Don’t come any closer or I’ll break his neck.” I could not wait to get to the end so I devoured it in one sitting. This book was full of many twists and turns in the book that will keep you guessing what is going to happen till the very end. I will definitely want to one click future releases from this author. Fantastic world building, fun dialogue, and complex characters make this a series you don't want to miss! I'm interested to find out what happens next and I'll definitely be picking the next book up in order to continue the series. You can read this as a standalone but it does help to read the others first just so you have bit more of a background knowledge about them. A fun read I'd recommend to anyone who likes this type of genre. It leaves you wanting more without taking away from the book. You can read this and be done, without it grinding on you. It's interesting enough to make you want more. I love the fact that there are steamy scenes but it doesn't overtake the plot of the story at all like many others do. The cast is filled out with characters who feel 3D, who have personalities and hobbies and aren't just background. The romance is sudden but not instant, and it doesn't feel forced. The author skillfully delivers the pasts of the characters by slipping information into just the right places, building world and characters in a pleasantly organic fashion. Fool of Main Beach (Love in Laguna #5) by Tara Lain for me is a five star read
